Monthly reporting: an executive report and review of your KPIs every month

Every month, a clear report on what happened and what is worth reviewing.

Having data isn’t the same as understanding it. Many businesses have dashboards and platforms full of numbers, but nobody has time to look at them calmly and draw conclusions.

Monthly reporting is an executive report, meaning short and written for whoever makes the decisions, reviewing your KPIs (Key Performance Indicators): what happened this month, how it compares with last month and which points deserve attention.

It makes sense when you already have data, for example in a dashboard or in your CRM (Customer Relationship Management), and want someone to review it consistently and explain it to you in business language.

It is a service with a monthly fee: continuity lets you see trends, not just isolated snapshots of a single month.

  1. Month’s data
  2. KPI review
  3. Comparison
  4. Executive report
  5. Points to watch
  1. We set the KPIs to review

At the start we agree which indicators we will follow each month and which sources they come from.

  2. We review the data

At month-end we analyse the indicators and compare them with previous periods.

  3. We prepare the report

We write a clear executive report: results, relevant changes and points worth reviewing.

  4. We deliver it to you

You receive the report every month and can ask us any questions about its content.

  • Monthly executive report
  • Review of the agreed KPIs
  • Comparison with previous periods
  • Points to watch and observations on the results

  • Building the dashboard or the data sources: available as an additional service (CRM-05, CRM-06, CRM-07)
  • Managing or optimising ad campaigns: available as an additional service (MKT-02, MKT-04)
  • Making changes to your tools or processes
  • Advertising budget

A B2B (business-to-business) services company has a dashboard with leads, proposals and sales, but the manager hardly ever opens it.

Before

The data is available but isn’t reviewed. A drop in website contacts goes unnoticed for weeks.

After

Every month she receives a short report summarising the results and pointing out that website contacts have fallen, so she can decide what to look into.

  • A consistent review of your numbers, month after month
  • Changes and trends spotted in time
  • Conclusions in business language, not just charts
  • Team meetings with a shared starting point

  • It can reduce the hours you spend reviewing data and interpreting charts
  • It can avoid preparing internal reports by hand every month
  • It lets management focus on deciding, not on gathering information

  • An executive report every month
  • Review of the agreed KPIs and how they evolve
  • Summary of points to watch

Do I need to have a dashboard?

You need organised, accessible data. A dashboard is the most convenient option; if you don’t have one, we can build it with CRM-05, CRM-06 or CRM-07.

Which KPIs are reviewed?

The ones we agree at the start based on your business: for example leads, sales, conversion, contact sources or cost per lead.

Does the report include changes to my campaigns?

No. The report analyses and highlights points to watch. Campaign management is available as an additional service.

Can I change the KPIs later on?

Yes. If your business’s priorities change, we adjust the indicators in the report.

Tell us about your situation and we’ll tell you, with no commitment, whether this service fits or which alternative makes more sense.
