SEO audit: what is holding back your website’s visibility

Find out what stops Google from understanding and showing your website.

You have a website, but hardly any visits come from Google and you don’t know why. It might be a technical problem, pages Google leaves out of its results, a confusing structure or copy that doesn’t answer what your customers are searching for. Without a diagnosis, any investment in search visibility is made blind.

The SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) audit is a complete review of your website from Google’s point of view: how it crawls it, which pages it indexes (that is, which ones it stores and can show in its results), how it is organised and which search opportunities are within your reach.

It helps you make informed decisions. It is the recommended starting point before hiring a monthly service, before redesigning a website, or when you have noticed your visits from Google dropping.

At the end you will know what is wrong, what is right, what is urgent and what can wait. You can fix it with your team, with your web provider or with us.

  1. Website access
  2. Technical review
  3. Indexing
  4. Structure
  5. Opportunities
  6. Prioritised report
  1. Information gathering

You tell us about your business, your main services and your competitors. If you have Google Search Console (Google’s free tool for seeing how it finds you), you give us read access.

  2. Technical review

We analyse speed, the mobile version, errors, redirects, broken links and anything that makes it harder for Google to read your website.

  3. Indexing and structure

We check which pages appear on Google, which shouldn’t, and how menus, URLs (the address of each page) and internal links are organised.

  4. Opportunities

We identify search queries relevant to your business where you can improve, and pages with potential.

  5. Delivery and walkthrough

We hand over the report and go through it with you in a meeting so you understand every point.

  • Technical audit of the website
  • Indexing review: which pages Google sees and which it doesn’t
  • Structure analysis: pages, menus, URLs and internal links

  • Report with issues ranked by priority
  • Results presentation meeting

  • Fixing the issues found (available with SEO Setup or as an additional service)
  • Writing new copy or articles
  • Visibility analysis in AI search engines (covered in AI Search / GEO Setup)
  • Guaranteed positions on Google

Imagine a physiotherapy clinic in Madrid with a website that is several years old. It publishes content, but visits from Google aren’t growing.

Before

The clinic doesn’t know whether the problem is the website, the copy or the competition, and hesitates between redesigning or leaving it as it is.

After

The audit shows, for example, unindexed service pages and duplicate titles. The clinic knows what to fix first and decides with sound judgement.

  • You stop guessing: you know what is holding back your visibility
  • You invest first in what can have the greatest impact
  • You avoid redesigning a website that perhaps only needed adjustments
  • You have a document any provider can follow

  • It can avoid spending on a full redesign when the problem is technical or structural
  • It reduces trial-and-error hours for your team or your web provider
  • It lets you request specific quotes based on a clear task list

  • SEO audit report in PDF
  • List of technical and indexing issues ranked by priority
  • Map of the search opportunities identified
  • Meeting to walk you through the results

Do I need technical knowledge to understand the report?

No. We explain every point in plain language and go through it with you in a meeting.

Does the audit fix the errors?

No. The audit diagnoses. The fixes can be made by your web provider, your team or by us with SEO Setup or a monthly service.

What access do you need?

Your website address and, if you have it, read access to Google Search Console. We don’t need to change anything.

Is it useful if my website is new?

Yes, although for a new website SEO Setup is usually a better fit: as well as reviewing, it leaves the foundation configured.

Does it guarantee I’ll appear first on Google?

No. Nobody can guarantee that. The audit tells you what to improve so your website has a better chance of appearing.
